About Us
In February 2001,it
was decided that an
under 13's team
should be set up
through the Dads &
Lads project.
The name Newham
Warriors was chosen
to reflect where the
players came from and the spirit within
themselves.
Those involved in the creation of the very first
Newham Warriors football team back in 2001,
recognised that as a youth team it was important
that the promotion, growth and development of
the players was through education and
self-discipline and also to raise awareness of
their identity and place within their community.
It was also important that the team had to work
in conjunction with Dads & Lads. Anyone who
falls short of the club's aims has no place in
Newham Warriors.
Newham Warriors has been blessed with the time
devoted to it by all of its managers, coaches and
secretaries, some of whom have boys playing for
the Warriors.
